What ONE THING are you going to CONQUER THIS YEAR!

I’m back. All right, we’re back. It’s great to be back and be sharing some of my knowledge with you again on these videos. I’m excited to be back. Last year was the best year ever. I hope it was a great year for you as well. If it wasn’t, not to worry. We’re going to talk about improving that on today’s video. As you might have noticed, I am wearing my winter coat to give you guys some emotional support today. I know it’s freezing everywhere that everyone is probably watching this from. I have to say, down here in Miami we are not suffering in any way. But I’m wearing my winter coat to show my solidarity with all of you that are freezing your butts off. Okay.

I hope that the great winter passes by quickly and you guys survive okay. Plus, this is probably good for business for a lot of you guys as well. So let’s talk. Let’s talk business. Let’s talk last year. Let’s talk the last 12 months. What’s changed, what was not great about the last 12 months, what was great about the last 12 months. I want to spend some time on this video reflecting on successes, failures, areas we need to improve, areas that we kicked ass at and that we need to expand on further. Let’s reflect on that on today’s video and make a game plan for how we’re going to make this year even better than the last year. I know that sounds tough but we can make it happen.

So here’s what we’re going to do. I want you guys to take a five, 10 minutes. Reflect on the past 12 months. I want you to dig into your personal life with your family, your friends, your relationships, your kids, your spouses, your girlfriends, your boyfriends. Reflect on last year. Where do you feel that you dropped the ball, personally? Where do you feel that you could improve in your personal life? And then I also want you to reflect on your business. Where do you feel that you dropped the ball in your business last year? What could you have done better? What was one of those things that you had full intention to implement or execute on last year but you didn’t pull it off?

Think about those things. Jot down a couple of notes on a piece of paper and keep those in the back of your mind. Maybe last year you missed those family dinners that you promised your spouse that you were going to hit every night. Maybe you got too wrapped up at the office and you started coming home late at 8:00 or 9:00 at night and you were dinner with the wife, dinner with the kids, dinner with the spouse, and you need to make that your priority this year. You need more quality time with the family.

Maybe last year you intended to get more reviews on your business online so new clients could see those but you dropped the ball and you didn’t keep but one or two or three new reviews all year. Maybe you’re struggling again with finding and hiring employees. I’ll bet this is a big one for a lot of of you. And you hit a wall last season because you couldn’t find help, and you need to solve that once and for all. Choose one thing. Think about one thing. What was the biggest area that you need to improve on this year, this coming season? Determine what that one thing is and then you’re going to make a decision to focus on that one thing this year that you’re going to solve and you’re going to eliminate it from your business or personal life. You’re going to fix this issue once and for all.

I’ll give you an example. My one thing is to double down on customer support, satisfaction, and communication. You know, when you’re growing quick, when you’re doubling year after year, when you’re bringing on new employees and you have hundreds and thousands of clients, it’s easy to drop the ball on customer service. So sometimes we have to take a step back, renew our focus, listen to what our clients are telling us, and solve the problems. It’s never fun to do. Sometimes it’ll bruise your ego a little bit. But if you’re an entrepreneur who’s determined to have success, you take these things and you fix them. When you see a problem in your business you address it and you fix it. That’s what I want you guys to do this year as well.

So for me and my example, I’m doubling down on customer support, customer satisfaction, customer communication. So already, right now, starting out the year, month one, we’ve already integrated instantaneous text messaging support. We have integrated monthly coaching calls with me personally. And my premier clients, you get coaching and training from me directly. I work with you directly in your business. I’m doubling down on providing my clients exactly what they need when they need it. I’ve always been accessible to my clients. They can get me on the phone any day of the week to speak to me. But we’re making a renewed focus on this, and we’re making it very clear to our clients. If you want access to me, I’m just a call, I’m just a text message, I’m just an email away. It’s that easy. I’m here to support your business and help you and coach you every step of the way of your growth.

Now, what I’d like you to do now, take the next … Pause this video. Take the next 5 to 10 minutes and do a little bit of brainstorming. Determine what your one thing is. Think about what you need to fix and create a game plan and a solution of how you’re going to do that. You can do it. But you have to think about it, think about the process, think about how you’re going to solve the problem. Create a plan and take action. Action is all that matters. I hate shit talkers. I hate people who say, “I’m going to do this and this and this in my business,” and they don’t do a damn thing. Don’t be a shit talker. Take action.

So here’s what I want you to do. After you hit subscribe, after you hit notify on this video, I want you to comment below this video on what you have decided you’re going to take action on, what you’re going to do, what you’re going to commit to. One thing, just one thing. What’s that one thing that you’re going to fix in your personal life, in your business? What are you going to fix? What are you going to commit to? Then, me, in 30 days, I’m going to come up and I’m going to read your comments, and I’m going to follow up with you and find out where you’re at, what progress you’ve made, and what you’ve done to overcome this hurdle from last year. We’re going to knock this out of the park and we’re not going to have this problem again next year, the year after, the year before, whatever day of the week it is. We’re going to solve this problem once and for all. Make it happen.
